Role Summary

This posting is for two Senior Talent Acquisition Partners. While both roles share the same core responsibilities, each will have a different client focus:

  • Technology – Supporting our IT division and recruiting for roles across technology, product, software engineering, applications, etc.  Preferred experience: technical recruiting or sourcing for IT/technology positions.
  • Guest Operations Leadership – Supporting leadership hiring within Guest Operations, focusing on managers and leaders who guide our frontline divisions, including international markets, in delivering remarkable guest experiences.  Preferred experience:  airline, travel, hospitality, or other front-line service environment, especially for international, leadership, and management roles.

 

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is a subject matter expert in finding and selecting the best talent to deliver remarkable experiences to our guests at Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and Horizon Air. As an individual contributor, this role builds life-cycle sourcing and recruiting strategies, provides consultation to hiring leaders, supporting multiple lines of business to identify and attract top talent to fill open positions and create vibrant talent pipelines.

Key Duties

  • As the senior-level recruiter, you will create unique and robust recruiting and sourcing strategies to identify, attract and engage top talent.
  • In partnership with your internal client group, you will define long-term strategy for division recruitment.
  • Exercises considerable initiative to solve for all aspects of recruitment including creative sourcing, candidate generation, client management and offer negotiations.
  • Manages the full cycle hiring process for one or more client groups, leading the interview process, partnering with compensation team to identify and target salary expectations for prospective hires and presenting employment offers on behalf of Alaska.
  • Partner with hiring managers to lead the interview process, collect feedback, and provide an exceptional experience to candidates.
  • Influence and provide strategic guidance and partnership with Hiring Managers and Senior Leadership.
  • In partnership with People Operations and Leadership, promote a culture of belonging through strategic recruiting efforts.

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills

Required

  • 4 years of recruiting experience in a professional environment, or related area.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an additional two years of relevant experience in lieu of this degree.
  • Familiarity with recruiting software; ATS, CRM, event management and other screening/scheduling automation software.
  • Ability to be collaborative with Talent Acquisition staff and accountable to shared goals.
  • Moderate travel may be required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

  • Certifications in Sourcing such as AIRS.

Salary Range

$97,200 -- $145,800 / year

Salary Details

Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Hawaiian/Horizon employees. Alaska/Hawaiian/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.

 

Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
