Role Summary

The Sales Analyst role works on a fast-paced team whose responsibilities include sales contracting, automation, and data administration, including preparation of reports, charts, statistics, and related presentations to support the indirect sales channel for the department at Alaska Air Group (AAG). As an individual contributor, this role focuses on sales analytics and processes that support the Global sales organization.

Key Duties

  • In the entry level, this role analyzes the needs of the Account Managers and develops appropriate reporting, content, tools, and dashboards to support the customer experience, under the direction of the manager.
  • In the intermediate level, this role analyzes the needs of the Account Managers and develops appropriate reporting, content, tools, and dashboards to support the customer experience, with minimal supervision. This role displays proficient understanding of all corporate sales analytics’ programs (PRISM, Tableau, SQL, Salesforce and Diio) that support the field sales team.
  • In the senior level, this role is a subject matter expert in Sales tools and applies their deep Sales Analytics knowledge to develop and execute our Global Sales strategy by providing insights and developing sales and market analytics. This role displays expert level understanding of all corporate sales analytics’ programs (PRISM, Tableau, SQL, Salesforce and Diio) that support the field sales team and serves as the go-to person for support with these tools.

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills

Required All:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Minimum age of 18. 
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. 

 

Entry Level – Professional 1

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 2 years of relevant experience in analytics or related area in lieu of this degree.
  • Ability to extract, interpret, and present large quantities of data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, and listening).

 

Intermediate Level – Professional 2

Required

  • 2 years of experience in Sales, Analytics, or other related commercial area (RM, Loyalty, Alliances, etc).
  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering or a related disciple, or 2 years of relevant experience in analytics or related area in lieu of this degree.
  • Demonstrated initiative and accountability to drive results.
  • Proficiency with data analysis programs and Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to extract, interpret, and present large quantities of data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, and listening).

 

Senior Level – Professional 3

Required

  • 4 years of experience in Sales, Analytics, or other related commercial area (RM, Loyalty, Alliances, etc).
  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering or a related disciple, or 2 years of relevant experience in analytics or related area in lieu of this degree.
  • Expert level experience with data analysis programs and Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Demonstrated initiative and accountability to drive results.
  • Ability to extract, interpret, and present large quantities of data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, and listening).

Salary Range

56600.00-142600.00 / year

Pay Details

GEO 1 (Honolulu):

Sales Analyst I: $56,600.00 - $79,200.00

Sales Analyst II: $67,600.00 - $101,400.00

Sales Analyst III: $86,400.00 - $129,600.00

 

GEO 2 (Seattle): 

Sales Analyst I: $67,725.00 - $87,150.00

Sales Analyst II: $74,400.00 - $111,600.00

Sales Analyst III: $95,000.00 - $142,600.00

Salary Details

Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.

 

Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
